One new vendor, three new locations – Harris Teeter!

Hey folks!

Remember when we said 2011 was going to be a big year? Well so far, it hasn’t disappointed. In the last two weeks, we’ll have added 4 new locations in Charlottesville that sell Well Hung wine. Last week, it was the delightful new place, on the western edge of town – Wine Made Simple. And this week, we’re on the shelves in three new locations – Harris Teeter grocery stores in Hollymead, Barracks Road, and out toward Crozet. It’s never been easier to shop for groceries and Well Hung wine at the same time! (Well, except maybe at the City Market…)

Charlottesville Holiday Market

Well hello!

Tomorrow, December 4th, is the first of our three week stint at the Charlottesville Holiday Market. This is a really fun, annual gathering – the December stretch of the Charlottesville City Market – a fantastic place to start (and finish?) picking up some holiday gifts. As always, the market is held in the City Market Parking lot on E Water Street, 212 2nd St SW, from 8 AM – 2 PM. We will have our booth with wine available for taste and purchase, and plenty of shirts, sweaters, aprons, etc. to cover yourself and loved ones. Look for us tomorrow, and on the 11th and 18th.

Two new retailers! [Ivy & Waynesboro]

Helloooo!

We have a lot of things going on to close out 2010, including the addition of two new retailers. If you’re heading west out from Charlottesville down 250, you can pick up some wine at Toddsbury of Ivy, or you can just keep on driving all the way to Waynesboro and pick some up at Purple Foot! As always, the whole list of retailers, including these two new ones, have been put on our trusty map.

A Taste for the Holidays in Ivy

Whether you’re looking for a wine to gift this season or a delicious conversation piece to adorn your table, Well Hung wine has you covered.

This weekend, Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 21st and 22nd, we’ll be having a home-town tasting in Ivy at the Ivy Store from 2 – 6 each afternoon. Come and enjoy a taste of our fine wines, or buy a glass to sip while you shop. Of course, we will also be selling wine by the bottle as well as our whole array of clothes, magnets, sacks, what have you! And don’t forget to stay until dark on Sunday when the holiday season is officially signaled, for me at least, by the annual illuminating of the Ivy Store’s gorgeous roof-top light display!

New Retailers! [Va Beach, Staunton, Waynesboro, C'ville]

Continuing to expand throughout Virginia, Well Hung Vineyard is proud to announce that five new retailers have started carrying Well Hung wine (and clothes!). Wondering where you can find ‘em?

Virginia Beach
P J Baggan – An adorable wine shop that deserves the attention of eastern Virginia. We just dropped off a few cases of wine in addition to shirts, aprons, and more. If you like wine and live anywhere in the Tidewater region, you should definitely acquaint yourself with this place.

River City Art & Wine Emporium – Already carrying a nice selection of Virginia wines, the Art & Wine Emporium in Waynesboro has picked up a variety of Well Hung wines and posters for sale.

The Pampered Palate – A quaint and delicious cafe right smack in downtown Staunton, close to Mary Baldwin College. They have great sandwiches, and (obvi!) great wine to boot!

The Organic Butcher – Fans of big hunks of meat in Charlottesville probably already know about the Organic Butcher in West Main Market. But did you know that they also sell wine? This is definitely the only place you need to go before having a delicious night in.

Two New Vendors! (Hear ye Williamsburg!)

Hello Well Hungians,

We are pleased to announce the addition of 2 new locations to our fine list (and map!) of vendors.

First, we take our place among history; we can now be found in colonial Williamsburg on the wine list at the Williamsburg Lodge (located here!). Be sure to stop in for dinner!

Also, we are proud to announce that you can now find us in the esteemed Virginia Shop in the Barracks Road Shopping Center in Charlottesville.

Yesterday- the internet. Today- Take It Away sandwich shop in Charlottesville on Elliewood Ave. just off The Corner. I know first hand how delicious their sandwiches are, and now they’ll be serving our delicious wine along side!

Charlottesville Holiday City Market (<- We’ll be there!)

Ho ho howdy readers!  Planning to do some shopping around Charlottesville this non-denominational holiday season?  Be sure to check out the Holiday City Market every Saturday through December 19th (ONLY TWO LEFT!), and while you’re there, come by the Well Hung stand!  At the market, you’ll be able to purchase and sample our fine wines, and get your hands on some of our fabulous textiles.  (Have you seen our aprons or boxers yet? [The answer would be YES if you followed us on Twitter!])

Charlottesville’s Holiday City Market hours- 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 5th, 12th, and 19th, just off the downtown mall at the corner of Water St and South St in the metered parking-lot!  (Here’s a map)

Can’t make it to the City Market?  Have no fear!  We have a highly trained tech team working around the clock to launch our online store at some point in the near future so you can get some Well Hung stuff delivered right to your door!
